Gana Om – sacred sounds of new beginnings. A special dance presentation, it depicts the myriad facets of Lord Ganesha, one of the foremost deities among Indian Gods and Goddesses. The elephant-headed God, who is also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka, is revered in India as the remover of obstacles, provider of prosperity, and the Lord of the people. The second dance production by SNDA students had a collaboration of guest Kathak artist from the valley: Smt Shaily Bhandari.
